I wanted to let you know that I have not received the needles you were going to mail me. In talking with a mod and others after seeing pictures of the condition of the machine and the parts that were left out. I would like to return it for a full refund unless the missing parts can be supplied. You grossly mistate the condition. Like new, used 3-4 times does not include a good amount of rust damage. You indicated all accessories would be included and they were not. One of which I would have to special order from Brother to get a replacement. If I had known the true condition of the item then I would not have bought it. The mod from DT talked to me and aparently mediation has stalled over there. I'd like to get this resolved but I haven't even been able to try out this serger to see if it works due to missing parts. Please either mail me the missing parts or advise me on how you would like to work the refund.

Thanks
Jessica

Hey there,

I just wanted to let you know that the serger came today but I went down the list of what was supposed to be included and I'm missing a few things. I was wondering if you could send them to me. Since the serger is discontinued I can't get these parts for it and according to the instructions I can't use it without it.

Missing:

One spool pin - Its supposed to come with four, there are only three
Needles - apparently it is supposed to come with a set of 5 (per the contents list) but there weren't any with the serger or in the bag.
The soft cover - This isn't necessary but I would like to have it to protect the machine since there is already some rust on it.

Let me know when I can expect to get the rest of the parts. I'm anxious to get started on my kids Christmas presents.

No need for an explanation on the paypal thing, its nobodys business but yours. I was more concerned for my kids. I'm trying to make them things for Christmas and I was worried I wouldn't be able to, as it is I'm going to have to work day and night to get things done. I accept your apology and I hope everything makes it here okay. I'm sorry things got so out of hand, it happens when you are dealing with a large amount of money and imo 160 is a lot to lose.

Thanks again and don't worry about it, enjoy your weekend. I'm going to go post on DS and as soon as I get it on Tuesday, I'll pm a mod for you.

oh no no no thats fine. Just save the pics on the off chance something does have them and the PO wants to see how you had it packed. Good for you for using peanuts and air package things. I'm sure it will be fine but I had to go through an insurance claim one time and they wanted all the packaging and everything.

Okey dokey, thanks for easing my fears. I have lots of work to do when it gets here. I have piles of fabric and patterns just waiting for it. Hugs mama and as soon as I receive it and verify it works, I'll pm sweetfantasyfox about reinstating you on DS. I'll also post a thread so that everyone will know that I'm happy. I know all mamas go through hard times, I just hope everything gets worked out for you. Let me know if I can do anything else. I'll email you on Tuesday to let you know I got it and everything is okay.

Yes I can guarantee it works.....I used it about a week ago but don't use it as much to warrant keeping it....with it in the box it is in perfect condition so if it arreives broken in the box that is something you will have to take up with the po through the insurance but it is in perfect working order nothing wrong with it.....

I'm sorry if I've been short/rude, etc. Let me explain the reason for me not wanting the serger. The sargent I talked to at the PD and the people on DS said not to accept the serger from you even if it arrives because if I open the box and things are missing or it doesn't work then I'm SOL. I have an autistic child and his medical treatments cost me a lot so I can't afford to lose that kind of money. I'm sure you have already mailed it but I'm talking with a mod and paypal over whether I should accept the serger when it arrives unless you are willing to guarantee that it will work. When is the last time you used it or tested it out? Please don't think I'm being rude in this, I'm just trying to protect myself. I would like nothing better than for this to have a happy ending.

Thanks
Jessica
