once a day (or less) (about a tablesppon for each yr of life iirc) is PLENTY of solids for a nursling. as long as you are nursing first and then offering a little bit of solids, that is fine. solids are just for learning/practicing how to eat, not for actual nutrition at this early

so glad to hear this becuase i'm very inconsistent with his feedings. i was just worrying about, some days are so busy! he prefers nursing to everything, a total boobie baby.
