Hi EAB and welcome! You are certainly not alone in this and we have several success stories on this board...so there is hope!! I did get pregnant two months ago on clomid, it was my second round, unfortunately it didn't stick and I MC. The fact that I DID get pregnant gives me hope.

I really don't think that your just having a period will interfere with your doctor giving you clomid. I have a period every 28 days and am on clomid. I have a problem with a short LP.

One year of trying on your own is certainly long enough. Your doctor needs to help you in some way. Good luck at your appointment on Thursday, let us know how it goes.
