Not great news - just news.
No results back from our karyotyping - was done at the lab, but the report hadn't been done.
AFC (antral follicle count) - 5 (very low)
FSH - 6 !!!! Sounds promising until you hear my E2 (197)
Sooooooooooo, with a low FSH and high E2 - it's indicative of LOR (low ovarian reserve)
I have a laparoscopy scheduled for Oct 3,
I can go ahead with the IJ/IUI cycle - but it will be more aggressive than someone with a naturally low FSH. Gonal-f, luveris and cetrotide, hCG trigger etc.....I figure it will be about $4000 before insurance coverage for the meds alone!
