This is my first post, so please forgive me if I mess up or something. I'm in dire need of assistance with a problem. My son will urinate on the potty with no problems. However, he will not poop on the potty. I sit him on there at the times when he normally poops and he holds it in. So I take him off the potty and put him in a pull up. Here's the problem. He poops at bedtime and naptime, and he's been taking off his pull-up, pooping on the floor, and sometimes smearing it into the carpet.
I bought him a potty chair for his room, which he proceeded to break within 1/2 an hour of it being opened and taken out of the box. I'd put him back in the crib, but he'd climb out and break his neck. I don't know what to do anymore. Does anybody have any ideas?
