Re: follistim
Nessa - I am very fortunate to have insurance coverage for my meds so I can't tell you how much it costs, but I'm an expert at Follistim otherwise! I personally really liked it - had very few side effects and I respond really well to it, sometimes too well. My lining and E2 levels were always fantastic as well on it. You'll likely be monitored much more closely on it than just plain Femara or Clomid - I started having daily u/s after 5 days on the meds, so normally cycle day 8. The nice thing about it is that they can tweak the dose, sometimes daily to help control or improve your response, unlike with Clomid also. The needles are nothing to be scared of either - they are tiny like insulin needles and the pen is super easy to use - just dial the dosage and shoot. I have always given myself all my own shots and it is a piece of cake. Anyway, I hope that answers some of your questions at least. Good luck!!!
