Well it doesn't make sense that your pistol would need to be disassembled so, I personally am glad for this. can you imagine someone trying to attack you in your house ...."oh wait, I need to put my gun together ..." LOL sorry. But criminals don't follow the law and it's ridiculous for them to be better armed than law abiding citizens.
