Default Re: Introduction to The Secret

Hi guys!

Yeah, I will definitely admit to pushing books. Since I read this one, I've been talking about it to practically every second person I talk to!! (Anyone else find you can't stop blabbing about it to people?)

For me, at this point in my life, I am trying to use the law of attraction and am practicing gratitude in an effort to improve my state of mind and relationships. Not neccessarily to attract a baby or money or what have you... I think part of it is that I don't really know what I want right now beyond happiness and peace. (It's hard to put those on a vision board! )

It's been a long ride on the miscarriage train, and I think I'd gotten very used to being stressed and scared and sad. Reading the book and practicing gratitude is really transforming so many of my days. I smile so much more these days, I don't sweat the small stuff as much, I try to understand/forgive people and just focus on their good qualities (ie, We're all human and no one's perfect!), etc, etc. I've always believed that .."life is 10% what happens and 90% our attitude towards it" but needed the kick in the butt that The Secret has given me.

Nic, as far as having caused our own losses, it hurts my heart to even think about that. (And, ladies, don't they say in the book that if it doesn't make you happy than you're not on the right path? Or something like that??) I'm just trying to look forward. Into our shiny, happy bright future. Deal?
