Default Had a bit of a break......

Well, I took the last month to just wrap my head around things.
On Jan. 22 I had surgery to remove a salivary gland that had developed a stone in it (yes, you can get stones in your salivary glands). I'm still at home on my 2 weeks off to recoup. My neck is very sore, and to top it all off, I had developed tonsilitis and am on antibiotics!

In Jan 12, I had a job interview (still with the health authority) for a job in a different department. This was for a position working with the software support group. So, I would be doing a lot of investigating, researching as well as teaching new users. This to me would be my dream job! Later that day, I found out I got the job. So, on the 15th, I told my current manager that I would be leaving and taking this new position. Needless to say, she wasn't happy at all, and was very curt with me. It puts her in a horrible position, since my co-worker had given notice and her final day was the 19th of Jan. (Yes, the Friday before my 2 weeks off for my surgery!).

So, I go back to work on Monday, work for the week and start my new position the following week. I am so excited to be starting this new position, I can't wait. The week will drag on forever!

But, I do have a bit of a dilemma. This is to be the cycle that I'm to start IUI. Now my new manager doesn't know that we are TTC, and I really don't want to spring this on her right at the start. The game plan for this first cycle was to take Clomid and have a trigger shot then the IUI. Which all sounds find and dandy, but, I'd have to be monitered via u/s to determine when the trigger should be taken, and starting a new job, I can't just take time off to have the u/s done every 2nd day. Then time to pick up the trigger shot, and then time to have the actual IUI done.

I'd like to hold off for the next cycle and now DH is a bit sullen about that, stating that I don't really want to have a baby cause I won't do this RIGHT NOW! The timing sucks. Do you think I should just be selfish and go ahead and follow the game plan (clomid, u/s, trigger, IUI) or should I show some consideration for my new position and hold off for a month.

What would you do??
