I don't think it matters as long as the child is in a loving family. Sometimes gay/lesbian familier are more 'suitable' parents then us straight folk. Now I am sure the child may have some difficulties growing up, but at least people are becoming a bit more tolerant of gay families. As long as the child is health and happy, then so should everyone else.
