Default Re: moving on from clomid

I think you need a different RE. Clomid hardly works for anyone. Clomid works on your brain to convince your body to make more follie-growing hormones. Injectibles GIVE your body more follie-growing hormones. BCPs - he should have told you WHY he wants this. You are right at your age you have very good chance for multiples. You are very young, Dear. Maybe a different doctor might have a different idea for you. There are several good REs in Houston. (that's where the RE school is) For example at my RE's office they don't offer Clomid to ANYONE. Why - because it hardly works for anyone. Choose carefully, for example the Freedom Fertility clinic is offering free drugs to people who are on their third try (third IUI or third IVF) if you bought the first two rounds of drugs from them. THere are programs called shared risk. Where essentially you pay for two cycles and they pay for two cycles. At your age, there is an excellent chance you will be pregnant many times.

You have a wonderful chance ahead of you at your age. Bravo to you for getting help early. Now - learn all about your cycle and those drugs and what they are doing and be a part of your future!
