When I was pregnant with my dd, we did the whole hospital tour thing and when visiting the operating room, there was the table with straps sitting right in front of us. We were told that if we were to get a c/s, that our arms would NOT be strapped down. Well, guess what?!?! I ended up with a c/s and MY ARMS WERE STRAPPED DOWN!!!! I didn't get to touch my dd right after birth either(only a kiss on the cheek). I am still mad to this day!!!

I don't understand the big deal in letting you touch/hold your baby right after birth, even with a c/s. I do understand the whole breastfeeding thing, but come on....let us hold our VERY newborn babes...even if it's for just a minute!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
