Re: New here
My thyroid levels are normal now. My dr put me on the correct dose of medication on the first try. I actually went to the dr because my cholesterol was high when my husband and I did our medical exams for life insurance. His cholesterol came back normal, and I eat better then he does! I went to the dr to find out what was going on with the cholesterol and he tested my TSH levels. Once the nurse called me with the results, I did some research and a lot of things going on made more sense to me. I had been in a real brain fog, I had a lot of trouble losing any weight after I had Kaden. I had started getting cold more often - which was really unusual and I was tired. I attributed being tired to having three small children. Once I got on the medication though everything stabilized and went back to normal. I wish that I had found this board right after I was diagnosed though. I went through a slight depression because I may have to take medication for the rest of my life. Now it is not an issue at all, but when it happened, it seemed like it was a huge thing.
We are actively TTC this month, and I am hoping that all goes well and we get a BFP! Hope all is going well with all of you.
