NEW and EXCITED!!
Hi everyone! I was very recently on the infertility site. Because 10 years ago, I had a very bad bacterial infection and was hospitalized for it. I was told that there was a 90% chance of tubal scarring and adhesions. For 10 years, I have believed that I could not have children (naturally). I was on BC pills for 14 years prior to this. I went off last March. I recently went to see an RE and yesterday had an HSG dye test done. Turns out my tubes are 100% clear and there are absolutely no adhesions or scarring. I am beside myself and I am still in shock. For 10 years, I believed I had no chance of naturally conceiving. Anyway, now I'm thinking, well, its been 12 months, can something else be wrong? My RE wants me to start Clomid next month. I dont think I want to go that route yet. I'm only 29. I think we'll give it another 6-12 months of good, old fashion trying before I start any meds. Anyone have any advice if I should start the drugs sooner?? Thanks for listening. I'm still celebrating!!
