WOW! Thank you so much for taking your time! I have 3 which I actually saw when I had the vaginal sonogram; 2 small ones and 1 huge one which was the problem maker. Very painful cramps and heavy bleeding and blood clots. Cramping would have me bent over double literally and I would have to work my way to an upright position over time as I got dressed for work; the rectum cramps were the most unbearable and many times I thought I would pass out! Bleeding was so heavy with the last cycle that every hour on the hour I had to change my sanitaryware and this lasted a week. Blood clots were huge so much so one day I was in the shower and I heard plop. When I looked down I thought I had passed my liver! A few days later I had to be rushed to hospital because I was losing so much blood my muscles started spasming in my neck area ... excruciating.... and my blood count had dropped down to 7 on borderline risk for transfusion. They could not operate on me then as my blood count was too low so I have been building it back up and on medication which has stopped my cycle except for minimal spotting. Having been healthy my entire life of 38 years and never needing doctors this is all very upsetting and overwhelming for me. Godo to know about not knowing what happened.

I am having surgery in May as I have pushed it back time and time again because I run a small business and taking off for 2 months is proving difficult and the medication has been working wonderfully so I feel fine except for feeling bloated most times, kinda wreaked havoc on my skin initially and of course my abdomen is not as flat as it used to be!

What did removal of cathetera entail and what is it? Sounds horrible.
