Default Re: Rotavirus Vaccine

So sorry to hear about your nephew Kady

We picked up Rotavirus in the hospital of all places, apparently this is quite common though. We were in there for RSV, half the floor was RSV patients, and the other half Rotavirus. We came home and within a day or so had it It was awful. I was SO sick, and I was taking care of 2 kids with the ending stages of RSV on breathing treatments that also had Rotavirus. We came very close to landing back in the hospital, but managed to hold out. The kids were 6 months old (3 months adjusted). It sucked that we even got RSV because we were pretty much homebound since birth, and they had gotten Synagis which did help them not end up on vents. I'm not jumping to get any extra vaccines yet though.
