Default Re: how long to wait for an HSG

I'm sorry about your first loss too. That had to be an especially hard loss. (None are easy) I'll be thinking about you tomorrow.

The HSG does not take long at all. There is a little discomfort when they thread the tube through your cervix. The shotting of the dye can cause a little pressure too. For me, the pain was because my surgury wound was so new. I don't know how it would be for a post-MTX shot. Hopefully not as bad. The x-ray was on during the whole procedure so I was able to see the dye had gone through my good tube (once he stopped pushing and my pain stopped). The doctor told me right away that it was clear. Of course it has to be read by a radiologist before they make it official.

Please let us know how everything goes. I hope all is clear.
