I feel like a high school senior

It's a long story. I recently broke up with Taren's father (right after Christmas). It was a long time coming, and I just got fed up. Later, I'll tell you the whole story (very entertaining I think ). Anyway, I broke up with him for a number of reasons and I wanted to start the new year fresh and new.

I started my present job back in September and there was one guy here who I could tell really liked me. Because I was sort of in a relationship, he was the perfect gentleman. He never flirted or said anything out of the way, but you could still tell he liked me.

Sunday night when I came into work, I found out that he would be on the property as a 'yard jockey' for the week. He usually drives a truck for the company. So I knew I would see him all week. We joked around and things, then it was brought to his attention that since we'd be getting off about the same time, he should take me out to breakfast.

We met up at a restaurant and we had breakfast. He's still the gentleman taking things very very slowly. I'm not too used to this part. I'm used to men being all up in your face about getting your number and such. Anyway, it's kind of refreshing!

It was a nice first date. I hope there are more in the future, but we'll see. I feel so giddy inside, I had to tell someone
