Thanks for the vibes Dawn. They must have worked because my baby is definitely head down now! I think he or she has been in the same position for weeks and I have been stressing over nothing! Anyway, all seems OK and despite not being able to measure on the scan (the measuring bit wasn't working) she thinks the size is fine. She had a really good feel (I thought I was going to wet myself

) and said that it wasn't huge

but certainly didn't seem too small
DH and Luke came with me today for a change. Luke enjoyed seeing the scan, but I'm not sure he understood exactly what it was. I hope he's not too shocked by the arrival of his new sibling.
As for boy/girl I think it's probably a boy because we have a girl's name sorted, but we're still debating boys names! I am pretty fussy about names because I like them to be familiar and easy to spell because our surname isn't, but then again I don't want it to be too popular. The general consensus is girl though. Even the M&S assistant offered her opinion a couple of weeks ago. First she told me it was too early to buy a nursing bra and then came out from behind the till to get a good look at my bump (and then touch it!!) before offering her verdict of girl. A girl would be nice as we're not planning a third, but I certainly wouldn't be disappointed with another boy. Not too long to wait now to find out.
I don't speak or message with Ruth and I don't think she's posted on DIF recently, but if I see a post from her I will try to point her over here.
