the hospital i delivered at had very strict rules. no cosleeping and no walking the halls etc it was REALLY stupid. that said I did sleep with him in my arms. They kept telling me to put him in his *bed* (I hate those plastic crappy things) but I just ignored them. they tried to keep him in the nursery overnight (they had a thing where they check the newborn vitals at 8pm) but if he wasn't back with me in one hour I always walked down there and got him. one hour was PLENTY of time to get one newborn's vitals.

hopefully this time i'll be able to go home sooner. I really wanted to leave about 14 hrs after he was born.
