Finding a Doctor
What kind of challenges, if any, did everyone have finding a doctor to assist with a VBAC? I had an unplanned c-section in 2001 after stalled labor. I have always wanted a non-medicated birth and is what I initially planned for with my first. Unfortunately, it didn't work out that way.
Now I have the chance to do it all over again and I really want to do a VBAC. I have an appointment scheduled with a practice that has a doctor that has published some very pro-vbac studies/papers so I'm hopeful that I won't have too much fight on how I want to birth. However, if I do I'm going to go on a search for vbac friendly docs in my area.
Where did you start? Did you have any problems?
