Those contractions sound hopeful. I had contractions first with Luke, so I know all about wondering if this is it or not. Mine started off so mildly that I wasn't sure what they were at first, especially as I was 2 weeks early and everyone kept telling me that first babies are usually late! I hope things start moving for you soon - get that bag packed just in case!

at the thought of DH being around more. He is definitely in the country until next Wednesday, but after that he's got at least 3 long haul trips before the end of November. I think the only reason he's home at the moment is that he wouldn't dare go anywhere between my birthday and Luke's, especially as we've got both his parents visiting this weekend (at different times because his dad won't be in the same room as his mum). You aren't the only one with parent trouble, but we get on with both his parents they just don't get on with each other.
Luke is great at the moment. Still not talking much, but he's definitely understanding loads. He was kissing my bump yesterday but I'm not sure he really understands that there's a baby in there. He has closed the lid of my laptop at least 3 times while I've been typing this, so it looks like I have to go.
