Take a blanket and depending on the time the weight of the blanket. If you are going to be in a hot part of the day it should be a light weight, light colored. Even though you might say why a blanket in the heat it will help keep the sun off your legs and wear a wide brimmed hat, light weight long sleeved shirt. Take ear plugs, if you go to a sporting goods store and visit the area where they have guns and ammo you can get the kind of ear plugs that are foam and you roll it between your fingers to a skinny stick then insert one end into your ears they will slowly and gently open back up very comfortably in your ear. You will still be able to hear normal talking around you but it lowers the dB of the loud cars as they go by.
