First of all, let me say that if my post came off as a bit insensitive to anyone I'm very sorry. I don't have a problem with what other people weigh at all, I'm just a bit screwed up in the head when it comes to my own weight. 150 lb just happens to be MY "comfort weight", meaning where I'm comfortable with what I weigh.
I looked at some pictures from earlier this summer. I think I had already gained some, but definitely not all, of the weight in the beginning of July, so let's say I have gained 10 - 12 lb in 3 - 4 months. That's still very unusual for me. DH claims he can't see it (bless him) but I know my clothes have gotten a little tighter lately

(I just assumed it was a few lbs as usual, not 12!).
Jen, I can't get an appointment today (I explained why in an IM) but I'm glad I'm going to see my doc soon. I know the plan is to check my thyroid then.
