Default Re: AP mamas roll call ~Please sign in~

Hi, Im not you're typical ap mama, though I just got the book on it. I'm 21, and my DS was exclusively bf for 3 weeks until we had a terrible bout with thrush that gave him a shallow suck and depleated my milk supply to almost non-existance. We he's bottle-nursed after he's emptied what's in my breast and gets ebm or formula, we feed on demand. I stand by my descion to use disposable diapers and to do all vax. We will use GD, we only co-sleep during daytime naps as my DH is too sound of a sleeper to safely do so at night, in addition to DS' sleep apnea. http://http://www.bebesounds.com/pro...escription.asp the monitor is well worth looking into if you have a family history of sleep apnea, sids or are just a parinod momma... if it ever goes off you'll be glad you had one. My son had stopped breathing for more than 20 seconds when the monitor went off and it took me at least another 15-20 to get to him, where he still wasnt breathing and had to be woken up before he started to breath... The crib monitor is a god send and could not sleep soundly without it.
