Default Re: Where is Everyone?

Wow...haven't checked in here in over a month and still dead
Did anyone catch the press conference last night? Bush was on fire, especially during the Q & A. The libs were pissed 'cause it pre-empted re-runs of Will and Grace. Oh, the horrors, the horrors!

They howl and whine and pull out the Nixon comparisions because the President has given so few press conferences (and anyone who saw last night's barrage from the media will now know why he doesn't do many of them). So he gives one, and they whine and carry on about him bumping their favorite crappy sitcoms and other rot off the air.

Social Security reform is easy; we get to keep more of our money and invest in what we want, and congress can't go out and spend it. That money becomes a personal asset, not a tax. It's no accident the President was speaking in Galveston on this issue....the county there opted out of social security 20 or 30 years ago, and their retirement plan is a model of both responsibility AND fiscal growth.

Dems = party of no ideas
