Re: New with ?
Honestly, I would suggest you speak to an herbalist about what might work best for you. Have you had your bloodwork done? Have they done an HSG/SHG? What other tests have you gone through? I see you have a beautiful baby already, but lots could have changed since June of 2003, KWIM?
Maca affects your thyroid toward producing more progesterone, estrogen and testosterone. It's a pituitary stimulator and if there is nothing wrong with your pituitary, I wouldn't mess with it. If ain't all broke and all that.
Tribulus helps with low libido and testosterone levels, but again: You need to know that that's your particular problem.
I sound like a broken record but one great book that may be able to help if you don't want to see an herbalist or it's just not feasible is "The Infertility Cure" by Randine Lewis. She has a section that can help you "diagnose" what may be wrong, and what herbs can help.
Ultimately, though, you really need your doc to do a thorough work up. You say you've been TTC a while but you don't say how long. It's not up to your doc to think it's ok. She has to understand that YOU may feel it's not and that YOU want some action taken. It's all about YOU, YOU, YOU.
HTH!
